I've been photographing Mark and Kaylee for three years, now. I had put out a model call so that I could build up my portfolio, and Kaylee responded to it. We met up for coffee, I photographed them, and since then, I've shot their proposal, their engagement photos, and now their wedding! And throughout all of it, we became very close friends. These two are edgy and non-traditional when it comes to pretty much anything. They like to go against the grain, which I love and appreciate so much. I knew Kaylee wasn't going to wear a white wedding dress, but man, her custom gray velvet, and lace dress was out of this world! She also has a thing for skulls, so there were steer skulls on the tables accompanied by dried flowers, eucalyptus, and wheat. They were married in the same exact spot that they got engaged, and were surrounded by their closest friends and family. One of Mark's close friends Zach, sang and played guitar, their friend Rick, officiated the ceremony, and their grandmother's were their flower girls (cutest thing ever). As Kaylee and her dad were walking down the aisle, two fishermen floated over to the boat ramp. We all laughed, because it honestly couldn't have been more fitting. The two men were really polite, and sat and watched as they tied the knot.
Their friends and family could not have been a more kind and loving crowd. Not only could you see the connection between Mark and Kaylee, but the love that was pouring out for them by their guests was overwhelming in the best way. I won't go into detail about how many times I cried that day, but words can't express how unbelievably happy I am for my friends. I couldn't imagine wrapping up my 2019 wedding season any other way. I love you guys so damn much and I hope the years to come are full of adventure, happiness, and fireball. Cheers!
