This year will be the first year EVER that I'm offering mini sessions, and really it's because I feel like life has been hard these last few years, and we could all just use an excuse to get barefoot and snuggle our favorite humans (or fur babies). Am I right?
I never offered mini sessions in the past because I always felt like they took away from the client experience, and in a way they do, because we're on a strict clock. With my full sessions, it's more relaxed because we have wiggle room and we can just take our time.
Though, since I am offering minis this year, I still want to make sure each of my clients have a great experience and still get those sweet photos they want for their walls. Below, I'm going to lay out three tips so that you can feel confident going into your mini session!
SHOW UP ON TIME
This is huge! Since mini sessions are in fact mini, you want to make sure you get every minute that you signed up for! If you're 10 minutes late for a 20 minute session, you're only going to have 10 minutes left, and that's just stressful! Show up on time to get your full slot, and leave the stress at home!
DRESS FOR THE SCENE
Most photographers who offer mini sessions usually have a theme for their minis. For mine, it's super simple! It's all about the essence of spring, with the white linen hanging on the tree, fresh flowers, and comfy pillows. Everything is white and muted tones, so sticking with softer colors for this set up is best! I don't recommend showing up in bright or neon colors, or anything with writing on it.
SWITCH YOUR FOCUS
I still want my clients to have a natural feel to their mini session photos, so don't feel like you need to pose. If you are feeling awkward (I totally get it), movement is best! Switch your attention from me to the people or pets you came with! I'll of course give you guidance along the way, but the more you interact with each other, the more comfortable you'll be and look in your photos!

Introducing: Spring Minis! Envision white sheets hanging as your backdrop, big bouquets of fresh flowers, and some comfy pillows. These minis are for couples, families (nuclear families only please), pups, or kids!
The Details: -Sessions are $250. $125 non-refundable retainer to secure your spot, $125 due the day of the session (checks not accepted). -20 minute session -6 high resolution digitals with the option to purchase more from the full gallery -1 outfit only (please wear neutrals/soft tones as they will go best with this set up!) -Please be punctual! Time slots cannot be extended. -These sessions cannot be rescheduled or transferred to another date for any reason. If there is inclement weather, a new date will be announced. -The returning client discount is not applicable to this offer. -These are the only mini sessions I will be offering this year!
