Much like every couple who planned a wedding for this year, Kevin and Erin had to make some major changes to their big day due to COVID. They were planning on honeymooning in Montana, and decided to scrap their big, upstate New York wedding by postponing it until 2021, and got hitched in The Last Best Place instead!
We had never met, but it felt as though we had! Their energy, and everything about them as a couple was so fun, genuine, and heartfelt. They were just so happy to be there with each other, and were so grateful to all of their vendors who made their day possible.
Kevin and Erin said their vows on the Sage Lodge property, and there's a reason why it's called Paradise Valley, guys! I mean, come on! What a backdrop!
One thing I loved and really appreciated about this wedding was the level of comfortability. When Erin's dad was walking her down the aisle, they were laughing and having a casual conversation as they made their way to Kevin. It was real, and sincere, but light. There wasn't any pressure to perform, or to be somewhat robotic. There weren't hundreds of eyes on them, instead they just had their eyes on each other as they pledged their lives to one another.
I'm sure they're really eager to celebrate with their friends and family who couldn't be there, but there is something so intimate and special about the ceremony just being for the couple. It really puts it all into perspective about what matters most when it comes to your wedding day.
I am so happy for these two, and equally grateful to have been part of their adventure!
XO,
Steph
